What to expect from your GPAppointments

My Health Online

Due to the COVID 19 outbreak we are now offering Routine 10 minute telephone appointments, in the first instance with available GP's.  If your GP deems it necessary slots will be made available for you to come to the surgery to be seen face to face.

In normal circumstances appointments  may be made by telephone or at the reception desk up to 8 weeks ahead. Late requests for appointments are accommodated as quickly as possible.

Appointments can be booked online via the link at the top of this page; please ask at the reception desk for details.

Patients With Particular Needs

Hereford Road Surgery has full wheelchair and disabled access. Patient services are provided on the ground floor, including appropriate wash-room facilities. We have a lift for access to the upstairs consulting rooms. For patients with hearing problems there is a hearing loop available at reception. We can also arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by phone for patients who do not speak English. Please let us know if you need this service when booking an appointment.

Cancelling an Appointment

If you cannot keep your appointment with the doctor or nurse, please call the surgery number in good time. This enables us to offer your appointment to someone else. If patients fail to cancel their appointment, this not only wastes valuable doctor and nursing time, but also means everyone waits longer to be seen.
